The dBadge noise dosimeter mounts on the workers shoulder, close to the ear, and monitors the true noise exposure throughout the day. At the end of the shift it provides you with the Lavg or Leq along with the TWA or LEP,d, depending on which regulations you are working to.
The "Lite" version provides the measurements you need to meet the regulations, the "Standard" version adds a Time History (graph of noise levels over time) and the "Plus" version adds "C" weighting so you can carry out a more detailed hearing protector analysis.
The dBadge is small and light-weight, housed in a very strong case. It has no wires to catch on machinery, the display and keypad can be locked to avoid tampering.
The dosimeter can be used on its own, reading the measurements from the display. To get the full functionality the Insight software is available to download the measurements, associate them with employees and present reports.
